The weather station has been made possible through funds from a Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) Research and Teaching Equipment Grant.
Roger Seeva and Vasan from Integrated Equipment & Instrumentation Sdn. Bhd .Malaysia, supplied the hardware and were responsible for the installation of sensors and the on-line linkage to the local internet.
Dr. A.N.V. Satyanaryana (Department of Geography), S. H. Neo, J. R. Yap and Amit K Thakur (Information Technology Unit, FASS) provided technical support and web assistance.
