NUS Safety and Health Awards 2020

Commemorative e-Book

The NUS Safety & Health Award (NUSSHA) scheme is to reward and recognize Departments, Research Institutes/Centres and Administrative Offices for implementing an effective department safety and health management system.

This year due to COVID-19 pandemic, it was not possible to have a physical ceremony.  Instead, OSHE has released  an e-book to commemorate this event and to celebrate the success of the participating Departments.

A total of 50 Departments took part in the NUSSHA 2020 and these departments were presented with different tiers of awards to recognise their efforts and achievement in safety & health management. Departments were assessed based on their safety and health management systems during the audit period of Jan 2019 to Feb 2020 and their safety and health performance over the reviewing period of Jan 2017 to Dec 2019. A total of 34 Departments won the Commitment Awards, 13 Departments with Commendation Awards and 3 departments with the Excellence Awards. For details of the categories and awards, please visit the NUSSHA webpage.
