Fees
1. Application Fees (Payable upon application)
All applicants must pay a NON-REFUNDABLE application fee (inclusive 7% GST) regardless of the outcome of the application.

2. Elective Fees
Once an applicant accepts the posting, the applicant must pay an elective fee depending on the number of elective weeks, inclusive 7% GST:

Payment can be made via a crossed cheque, bank draft in Singapore Dollars only or credit cards.
Credit Card: Only MasterCard and Visa are acceptable for payment.
Cheque: Singapore cheques, that is, DBS, POSB, Citibank, UOB, OCBC, etc. are acceptable.
Bank Draft (International Draft): International students are advised to purchase a bank draft in Singapore currency from the banks.
Cheque/bank draft must be made payable to 'NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SINGAPORE'.

3. Administrative Fees
Request for change in discipline / department / hospital of postings will NOT be entertained after application has been processed by the hospitals. Please submit a fresh application together with the application fee.
For changes in posting date (for any confirmed posting), applicants will be charged a non-refundable administrative fee of S$53.50 for each change request even if the department is unable to accommodate the change of dates. Please take note changes are subject to the availability of vacancies and supervision.

Refund/Cancellation Policies
If you wish to cancel your posting, please kindly contact us immediately. If you notify us at least 2 weeks before the start of the posting, any paid electives fees will be refunded in full. No refund will be given if notification is received less than 2 weeks before the start of a posting or if you withdraw after a posting has begun.
There will be no refund of electives fees for students who have to terminate their electives due to disciplinary action being meted out for failing to abide by Code of Conduct of National University of Singapore, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and / or Singapore Authorities.
