Objectives

The interdisciplinary course engages music educators and practitioners to discuss and understand the disparate layers of art interpretation through the three questions: What is art? When is art? And Where is Art? The course develops skills related to interpretation, summarising, translating knowledge from one context to the other, and synthesising critical thinking. These transferrable skills can be utilised by learners as required in their own job roles, while providing a better understanding of Art as a general form.
