Objectives

At the end of the course, students are expected to: 1. Develop a critical understanding of what is needed to enable people with disability to live with dignity and independence and to consider how society might have to reinvent itself from a social justice perspective. 2. Demonstrate practice competence in preserving the dignity and worth of persons with disabilities.3. Develop a critical understanding and applying the working knowledge of assisting persons with disabilities to be independent4. Demonstrate enhanced ability to influence society at large in reinventing the ability to include persons with disabilities to be active participants of our society.
