Objectives
The main objectives of this course:
1) Understand the broad history, key concepts and theories of international relations.
2) Introduce the different theoretical approaches and develop a sophisticated understanding of various topics in world politics.
3) Provide analytical tools to critically evaluate some of the contemporary policy debates.
4) Develop a practical knowledge of several pressing issues in international relations and learn how to apply to their fields of work.
