Objectives
Expected learning outcomes:Course GoalTo utilise diagnostic ultrasound to answer the urgent clinical question: "Is there a hydronephrosis or urinary retention?" in the emergency environment.Course expected outcomes1/ Consolidate the student's existing skills to accurately and safely operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to acquire images of the kidney in two planes and post micturition bladder volume.2/ Understand how to interpret the degree of hydronephrosis and differentiate from parapelvic cysts.
