Objectives

On successful completion of this module, students will be able to:1. Understand the essential working knowledge of emergency incident management – Response and recovery phases of emergency management life cycle2. Establish an effective incident management system to manage workplace emergencies3. Integrate the organization’s crisis response to support incident management efforts – Crisis functions such as employee assistance, next-of-kin support, operation continuity, incident investigation, media and community relations management4. Implement the incident command system to control on-scene emergencies5. Implement the incident recovery, restoration and business continuity plans to manage recovery
