Objectives

This course provides students with the foundations and tools to know and understand the problems and challenges the Philippines faces today. Using a multi- and inter-disciplinary framework, it aims to discuss the various dimensions of the Philippines: its geography, politics and history, religion and culture, media and society, uneven development, international migration, and its trading and investment relations.
