Objectives

Upon completion of the course, students should be able to: 1. Assess and identify the clinical care needs of geriatric patients (of the disease states and/or conditions covered) 2. Provide patient-specific recommendations relating to pharmacotherapy and non-pharmacotherapy interventions to meet the clinical care needs of geriatric patients Specific learning objectives will also be provided for each topic.

Entry Requirements

The candidate must have / be: (1) Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (with or without Honours classification) or an equivalent qualification (2) Registered pharmacists with the Singapore Pharmacy Council (or overseas equivalent), and holding a current and valid practicing certificate (3) At least 2 years of working experience as a patient-care pharmacist post pre-registration training (preferably)

Learners must pass all assessment components to be eligible for SSG funding. Please note that all external funding for courses is limited in duration and subject to availability.
