Objectives
At the end of the courses the learners will be able to:
- provide patient-centered care to patients with central nervous, endocrine and renal system as well as general medicine and psychological disorders;
- develop clinical reasoning and health assessment skills , shared decision-making and effective communication.
Who Should Attend
This course caters for practising Registered Nurses (RNs) with at least 1 year of work experience
Entry Requirements
- Registered Nurses (RNs) with practicing certificate from the Singapore Nursing Board and with at least 1 year work experience in Community Health Nursing;
- Subject to Health requirements stipulated by the Ministry of Health.
Lesson Delivery
a) Facilitated learning - 73 hours;
b) e-Learning - 13 hours;
c) Work-based learning -130 hours;
d) Self-directed learning - 39 hours;
e) Assessment - 5 hours.
