Objectives
This module prepares participants to apply principles of assessment and select appropriate assessment methods to assess learners’ knowledge and skills In addition, this module focuses on the process of programme evaluation
Students are expected to display competency in the following after course completion:
1 Distinguish the difference between assessment and evaluation
2 Apply the principles of assessment and rules of
evidence in designing assessment strategies
3 Select appropriate assessment methods that align with learning outcomes of the curriculum and
4 Evaluate a program utilizing model to meet the professional and regulatory standards
Who Should Attend
Healthcare professionals involved in the training and learning development
Entry Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a related discipline
At least one year work expereince in a related discipline
Applicants without a Bachelors’ degree but with relevant work experience are also eligible
Lesson Delivery
Classroom facilitated Training 28 hours
