Objectives

This module aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to plan and design a curriculum that fulfil desired outcomes to build workforce capability. Students are expected to display competency in the following after course completion: 1. Discuss the concept of curriculum design; 2. Develop effective learning outcomes; 3. Apply the principles of effective content design to develop the contents of the curriculum; 4. Justify the teach-learning methods utilized in the curriculum; 5. Apply professional and regulatory standards in 6. designing a curriculum; 7. Implement the curriculum; and 8. Develop and effective lesson plan.

Healthcare professionals involved in the training and learning development

Entry Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in a related discipline; At least one year work expereince in a related discipline Applicants without a Bachelors’ degree but with relevant work experience are also eligible.

Class Schedule

Over 3 alternate Saturdays (9am to 5pm). On semester week 8, 10 and 12
