Objectives

Carbon Measurement, Reporting and Verification course has the following learning objectives: -Appreciate the significance of a detailed and customised plan to facilitate the verification process and stakeholder buy-in -Identify necessary tools to evaluate carbon project parameters, methodologies and data sources -Prepare MRV reports and documents, in compliance with recognized carbon standards, regulations and international frameworks -Identify processes to submit official verification statements to secure carbon credits -Identify best practices for continuous monitoring, verification, and data reporting post-credit-issuance

Entry Requirements

This course is open to practicing professionals in emission trading domain or career switchers with minimum 2 years of experience in sustainability roles. Alternatively, a prospective participant can complete the Navigating Policy Developments and Trends in Carbon Markets course (TGS-2024043306) or demonstrate equivalent experience or understanding of emissions offsetting from a combination of their current or past professional experience and/or educational qualifications.
