Objectives
In the course, learners will evaluate, apply and challenge existing scholarship, research and professional practices using data and statistical analysis tools relating to music-making, and apply findings to individual practice and initiatives. Through seminars and class discussions, learners can hone their research data collection and management skills and apply data storytelling and visualisation techniques to form cohesive and effective arguments in modes suited to a range of audiences.Learners will be empowered to conduct information gathering and analysis and use the insights from the data to professional practice translation to cultivate a vibrant, engaged community of music-makers in our wider society.
