Objectives

The aim of this course is to equip occupational therapists, physiotherapists and speech & language therapists across all settings with professional competency and confidence of therapists with the necessary knowledge to work with patients and families facing life-threatening illnesses. There will be 2 parts in the course - Part I will focus on foundation palliative care management for all therapists; Part II will focus on professional specific knowledge and applications. The trainers in this course range from experienced palliative doctors, nurses and therapists who practice palliative care in Singapore. They will cover a comprehensive range of paliative care topics relevant for OT, PT and SLT. The content is presented through interactive lectures, discussions and role play activities.

Registered Therapists who are interested in learning more about working with patients and families facing life threatening illnesses.
