Objectives
Arabic 1 is meant for students with no prior knowledge of the target language. Students will learn how to read and write Arabic scripts, and how to combine them to form words. They will be guided though this systematically with sufficient practice. This provides them with a strong foundation that makes their journey of learning Arabic a pleasant one. Later, they will learn how to communicate in Arabic on topics, such as greetings, introductions, asking about objects, countries and nationalities, numbers, and jobs.

Entry Requirements
This module is meant for students with no prior knowledge of the target language. Students with prior knowledge (including spoken proficiency) must contact CLS to take a placement test.
