Objectives

This module aims to equip students with different statistical pattern recognition (SPR) techniques and analysis of data for Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Upon successful completion of the module, students will acquire knowledge on various SPR algorithms and probabilistic estimation approaches for simple distributions in IoT applications. They will also acquire skill and hands on experience in coding basic probabilistic classification algorithms from scratch.
