Objectives
This module aims to introduce students to various types of wireless networks and protocols that are used in Internet of Things (IoT). At the completion of the module, students will have the knowledge of wireless networks, common air interfaces, multiple access control and routing protocols of the IoT networks, and be able to evaluate the performance of wireless networks operating under different topologies, environments, interference patterns, and other adverse channel conditions.

Network engineer, Communications engineer, IT engineer, CTO/CIO, Engineering manager.
Entry Requirements
Relevant Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics/communications/computer engineering, computer science, and related disciplines. Knowledge in signals, networks and programming.

Lesson Delivery
1. Facilitated Learning - 18 hours;
2. Assessment - 2 hours.
