Objectives

This module aims to introduce students to data science and techniques for Internet of Things (IoT) and provide training to use the techniques for IoT applications. At the completion of the module, students will have the knowledge on the fundamentals of data science including machine learning algorithms. They will also acquire skill and hands on experience in applying them on real-world data for IoT applications.

Entry Requirements

Relevant Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics/communications/computer engineering, computer science. Mathematics, Science, Business, and related disciplines. Basic knowledge of probability and statistics. Familiarity with computer programming language such as Python.
