Objectives

The Internet of Things (IoT) is integrating our digital and physical world, opening up new and exciting opportunities to deploy, automate, optimize and secure diverse use cases and applications. The objectives of this course are to:

Familiarize the participants with technologies and concepts associated with IoT

Provide an understanding of the impact of IoT on society and industries

Upon completing this course, the participant will be able to:

Describe the components and technologies of an IoT system and their interactions with the physical world

Select the appropriate networking and connectivity solution for an IoT application

Understand the integration of cloud and edge computing technologies with IoT

Qualitatively evaluate the applicability and benefits of IoT for application use cases

A bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
