Objectives
This certificate builds on foundational knowledge to strengthen students' practical skill in applying behavioural and implementation sciences to real-world healthcare challenges.
1. Apply behavioural and implementation science principles in practice, identifying barriers and facilitators to change and designing strategies to improve adoption, fidelity and sustainability of healthcare interventions.
2. Design and conduct applied implementation research, including hybrid effectiveness-implementation studies, and select appropriate study designs, measures and data collection tools for different healthcare contexts.
3. Plan and carry out programme evaluations, using appropriate evaluation approaches and assessing whether programmes are achieving their intended results.
4. Communicate evidence clearly and effectively, translation research and evaluation findings into practical recommendations for policymakers, healthcare leaders and other stakeholders.
