Objectives

The Graduate Certificate in Financial Economics is designed to meet the needs of Singapore’s burgeoning financial sector by equipping both new entrants and existing professionals with advanced skills in financial analysis and risk management. As financial instruments become increasingly complex yet more widely accessible to investors at all levels, the standards for knowledge required of finance professionals increase as well. This certificate allows working professionals to upskill in areas such as asset valuation, portfolio management, trading strategies, risk management, financial strategy and advisory without committing to a full-time master's programme. It offers a flexible and modular pathway for professionals from diverse backgrounds to acquire core financial competencies grounded in economic principles.
