Objectives
The Graduate Certificate in Economics for Public Policy is meant to fulfill the growing need for those who can think clearly about economics and do quantitative policy analysis. As policy problems become more complicated, such as climate change and an aging population, ministries, regulatory bodies, and international organizations are looking for people who can combine economic theory with evidence-based policymaking. This certificate allows working professionals to upskill in areas such as public finance, project evaluation, and microeconomic policy without committing to a full-time master's programme. It offers a flexible and modular pathway for professionals from various backgrounds to apply economic tools to real-world public issues.
