Students will learn the principles and applications of crystal growth and engineering. This knowledge is relevant to the crystallization of active pharmaceutical ingredients in the pharmaceutical industry. Topics include: crystal structure & design, crystallization & growth, polymorphism, and multi-component crystals. Students will receive practical training in in crystal-structure visualization & data mining.
